You will have access to all the materials, which will be added weekly, though you may work your way through the course in any way you choose.  Each module contains videos, slides, templates and more.  Be sure to take your time completing the exercises to get the full benefit.

Participants will have access to the course materials for as long as it exists.

• Eight Popular Outlining Styles—Including templates and examples for each. (Save the Cat, Romancing the Beat, Story Grid, Heroine's Journey, Hero's Journey and more)
• Choosing a Style or Combining Them
• Annotating the Beats using the Inside Outline
• How to use the Annotated Beat Sheet for Drafting and later Revision (some people might call it a Reverse Outline)
• Put Together Your Annotated Beat Sheet and Test it!
• Bibliography and Additional Resources

Participants also have access to a private community on Mighty Networks for questions, posting their exercises, and encouraging each other.

By the end of the course, you will be able to create an annotated beat sheet to write your novel or use the beat sheet to evaluate and revise your novel with confidence that your story has the elements it needs to succeed.  Things like narrative drive, the plot points readers expect, and the all important cause and effect chain.

NOTE: If you choose the written feedback with video option for your outline, you must submit the outline to Readerly within 12 months of your original purchase of the course.
